Support
Fortify VPN+ is published by RADIAL DATA SERVICES LTD. Write to us and a person answers, normally within two business days. The address at the bottom of this page is our registered office.
Tell us the iOS version, the app version and what happens on screen. With that we can usually reproduce the problem on the first try.
Common questions
iOS asks to add a VPN configuration. Should I allow it?
Yes. On iPhone no app can route traffic without a VPN profile, so iOS shows a system prompt the first time you connect. Confirm it with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. Without that permission the tunnel cannot open.
How do I change the country?
The country shown above the connect button opens the list when you tap it. Pick a country there, or stay on the optimal server and let the app decide. Changing country mid-session reopens the tunnel by itself.
It says connecting and never finishes
- Stop the session in the app and start it again.
- Try another country from the list.
- Make sure a second VPN app is not holding the tunnel: iOS Settings, General, VPN and Device Management.
- Move from Wi-Fi to mobile data, or the other way round, to rule the network out.
- Restart the iPhone. That clears most sessions that hang.
If none of that helps, write to us. Useful details: iOS version, device model, which country you had selected and roughly when it happened.
Everything feels slower with the tunnel on
Encryption and the extra hop always cost some speed. Try a nearer country first. If the same slowdown happens with the tunnel off, the problem is the network rather than the app.
How do I cancel the subscription?
Apple bills the subscription, so it is cancelled in your Apple Account rather than in the app. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select Fortify VPN+ and cancel. Access runs to the end of the period you already paid for. Cancel at least 24 hours before the next period starts to avoid that charge. Deleting the app on its own does not cancel anything.
Can I get a refund?
Apple takes that decision, not us, because Apple processed the payment. File the request at reportaproblem.apple.com from the Apple Account that paid. We have no way to send money back ourselves. If the charge itself looks wrong, tell us too and we will dig into what happened and back up your case with the details.
I paid and the app still shows no subscription
Run Restore Purchases inside the app while signed in with the Apple Account that paid. Nothing appears? Send us the date the charge went through and we will trace it.
What happens to the address I type into the leak check?
The feature runs on Have I Been Pwned, an outside breach-notification service. Your address travels there encrypted, and the service reports back whether it turns up in breaches that are already public. Nothing is stored on our side once the answer arrives, no list gets your address, and no marketing follows. Section 3 of the Privacy Policy covers it in detail.
What do you hold about me, and how do I get rid of it?
There is no account and no log of your browsing, so there is no history on our side to delete. If you have emailed support, we hold that thread: ask from the same address and we remove it within 30 days. Settings the app keeps on the device go away when you delete the app, along with the VPN profile.
How do I remove the VPN profile?
Deleting the app removes its profile. If an entry is left behind, open iOS Settings, General, VPN and Device Management, VPN, tap the information icon next to Fortify VPN+ and delete it there.
